Start Arguments

NetIP supports a variety of optional start arguments that you can use for CLI or shortcuts. Most of them are used for debugging purposes, but feel free to use them if you want.

Network Popup Arguments

showNetworkPopup

Open the Network Popup at startup.

  • Argument: -showNetworkPopup
  • Type: boolean
  • Usage: NetIP.exe -showNetworkPopup true

networkPopupAlwaysOnTop

Make the Network Popup always on top when starting

  • Argument: -networkPopupAlwaysOnTop
  • Type: boolean
  • Usage: NetIP.exe -networkPopupAlwaysOnTop true

Main Window Arguments

showMainWindow

Open the Main Window at startup. By default, it will load the HomePage.

  • Argument: -showMainWindow
  • Type: boolean
  • Usage: NetIP.exe -showMainWindow true

mainWindowStartPage

Specify which page the Main Window should load at startup. Must be combined with showMainWindow.

  • Argument: -mainWindowStartPage
  • Type: string
  • Usage: NetIP.exe -mainWindowStartPage AboutPage -showMainWindow true
  • Available Start Pages: HomePage, SettingsPage, DNSProfilesSettingsPage and AboutPage.

System Arguments

deleteAutoStartTask

Delete the NetIP auto start task from the Windows Task Scheduler, then shutdown NetIP. Used by the uninstaller script.

  • Argument: -deleteAutoStartTask
  • Type: boolean
  • Usage: NetIP.exe -deleteAutoStartTask true
